Hello,

I have done the following process it worked for me.

1) Before Installing the vnc server, see you have installed gnome desktop Environment.

[root@racksready]# yum groupinstall Destop

2) Install Gnome Packages

[root@racksready]# yum -y install tigervnc-server pixman pixman-devel libXfont

3) create users for the servers

[root@racksready]#adduser abc1

[root@racksready]#adduser abc2

[root@racksready]#passwd abc1

[root@racksready]#passwd abc2

4) create vn
[abc1@racksrec passwords

[root@racksready]# su abc1ady]# vncpasswd
password :

[abc2@racksready]# su abc2
password :
verify :

[abc2@racksready]#exit;

5) Edit the configuration file

[abc2@racksready]# vi /etc/sysconfig/vncservers

VNCSERVERS=”1:abc1 2:abc2″
[VNC SERVERARGS[1]=”geometry 640*840″
[VNC SERVERARGS[2]=”geometry 800*600″

save and exit.

6) restart the vnc server

[root@racksready]# service vncserver restart

7)check the vnc server is on or not.

[root@racksready]# chkconfig vncserver on

8) Install the vnc viewer on remote machine

Type your server ip:1 to connect as abc1 user.

for example if my server ip is 1.2.3.4

Then in place of ip

1.2.3.4:1

then connect
